The Monthly Visitor: An Unwelcome Guest

By Shivani Kashyap

Once a month, women around the world are visited by an unwelcome guest. This guest arrives unannounced, overstays its welcome, and causes all sorts of problems. I’m talking, of course, about menstruation.

Ah, menstruation. That time of the month when women are blessed with cramps, bloating, mood swings, and the joy of bleeding for several days. It’s like a monthly reminder that our bodies hate us.

But seriously, menstruation can be a real pain (literally). Women have to deal with all sorts of issues on a daily basis because of their periods. For starters, there’s the physical discomfort. Cramps can range from mildly annoying to downright debilitating. And don’t even get me started on the bloating. Who doesn’t love feeling like a balloon ready to pop?

Then there’s the emotional rollercoaster. Hormones go haywire during menstruation, causing mood swings that can make us feel like we’re losing our minds. One minute we’re laughing, the next we’re crying, and then we’re angry for no apparent reason. It’s like being possessed by a demon with multiple personalities.

But wait, there’s more! Let’s not forget about the practical issues. Women have to constantly worry about leakage and making sure they have enough supplies on hand. And don’t even get me started on the cost of menstrual products. It’s like we’re being punished for something we have no control over.

Menstruation is a real pain in the uterus. Women have to deal with all sorts of physical, emotional, and practical issues because of their periods. But hey, at least we get to experience the joy of childbirth, right?
